The quick version
Downloading a song takes under a minute on any device:

Type a song, artist or album into the box, or in Spotify open the song, playlist or album, tap Share and choose Copy link.
-
Step 2: Paste it into Spot Downloader
Paste the link (or your search words) into the box at the top of this page and press Search or Open.
-
Step 3: Pick your songs
Press Download next to any song, or Download all to save a whole playlist or album one song after another.
-
Step 4: Save the MP3
Your browser saves each MP3 to its usual Downloads folder (the Files app on iPhone, Downloads on Android and computers).

- In the Spotify app, tap ⋯ → Share → Copy link.

How to download Spotify songs on Windows, Mac & Linux
- In the Spotify desktop app, right-click a song, playlist or album and choose Share → Copy link. In the web player you can also copy the address bar.

- Click Download next to a song, or Download all. Your browser saves the MP3 files to the Downloads folder.
Playlists and albums
Open a playlist or album and every song is listed with its cover and length. Download all saves them one after another, each as its own MP3 file:
- The first time, your browser may ask whether this site may download multiple files. Choose Allow.
- Each visitor can download 50 songs a day. The number left is shown above the list.
- Stopped half-way? Open the same playlist again tomorrow and press Download the rest.
The playlist downloader and album downloader pages explain the details.
Adding songs to your music app
Downloaded files are ordinary MP3s named “Artist - Title.mp3” with the album cover inside, so any music app that plays local files shows them properly. On computers, drag the files into your player’s library; on phones, most players scan the Downloads folder.
What the files are like
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Format | MP3 (plays everywhere) |
| Bitrate | 128 kbps |
| Cover art | Embedded album artwork |
| File name | Artist - Title.mp3 |
| Typical size | About 1 MB per minute (3–5 MB per song) |
Troubleshooting
“That Spotify item wasn’t found”
The playlist may be private, or the song, album or artist may be region-locked or removed. Check the link opens in Spotify’s web player while logged out.
A song says “Try again”
Some songs can’t be converted at that moment. Try again in a minute, or search for another release of the same song.
“You’ve reached today’s limit”
The limit of 50 songs resets 24 hours after your first download of the day.
