These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Spot Downloader (the “Service”), operated by Downloaderize (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
The Service lets you look up songs in Spotify’s public catalogue and download MP3 versions of them for personal, offline listening. Each visitor may download up to 50 songs per day, and automated or bulk use is not permitted. The Service is free. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) to use the Service, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- download, reproduce, distribute, re-upload or monetise content in a way that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of any person;
- use the Service to access content that is not public, or attempt to circumvent any access control, privacy setting or technical protection;
- use bots, scrapers or automated scripts against the Service, exceed its rate limits, or place an unreasonable load on it, except through our documented API within its limits;
- interfere with, probe or attack the security or integrity of the Service;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive.
4. Content and copyright
We do not host, own or control the music you download; it belongs to its respective rights holders. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of any downloaded content complies with applicable law and with the rights of the artists and labels and with Spotify’s terms. Downloading for personal viewing does not give you any right to republish content. Rights holders can contact us under our DMCA & Copyright Policy.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on Spotify’s public catalogue and on a third-party conversion provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Spotify AB. Changes made by Spotify or the provider may cause the Service to stop working, in whole or in part, without notice.
6. Our intellectual property
The Service’s software, design, text and logos are owned by Downloaderize and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them except as permitted by law.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND AVAILABILITY. We do not guarantee that every song can be found or downloaded or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOWNLOADERIZE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Downloaderize harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or of any third party’s rights.
10. Suspension
We may block access to the Service, including by IP address, if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms or abusing the Service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Downloaderize is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
